Pocket Guides to Artist Insurance

Sep 2, 2010

Fractured Atlas recently published the latest edition to their handy online "pocket guide" to artist insurance.  This round features general info specifically for you musicians out there.  The tips are very basic but will give you a good starting point if you're new to the insurance game.

Not a musician? Don't worry, they already have guides for Film, Dance, Teaching Artists, and Theater. And coming soon are guides for Public Art, Visual Art, Independent Contractors, and Craft Artists.  From their blog:

The Pocket Guides are adorable, fun, discipline-specific guides to the most important types of insurance to consider as you create your art.  Hopefully, they will help you not only decide what coverage is best for you right now but also to gain a little bit of knowledge and enough vocabulary to understand why we have to ask you all of these annoying questions as you apply for your insurance coverage.  They may also take you on the first step to becoming an insurance ninja in your own right.
